  • About

Autism Hampshire will be celebrating Autism Acceptance Week starting on the 31st March. As well as a range of other actvities, we are inviting you to wear purple on World Autism Awareness Day (Wednesday 2nd April) in exchange for £1 donation to the charity.

Whether you're in the office, at school, or anywhere - wear purple to show your support for autism acceptance!

Why is autism acceptance important?

Autism acceptance goes beyond awareness - it means valuing and respecting autistic people for who they are. Acceptance reduces stigma and creates a more inclusive society where autistic individuals can thrive.

It is our vision to create a better future for autistic people. Many barriers autistic people face come from a lack of understanding. By promoting acceptance, we can challenge stereotypes, improve accessibility, and ensure autistic people are included in all areas of life.
