- About
"We have grown in confidence with knowledge of how best to support our daughter. We see a positive pathway through life for her now that we understand how to advocate for her and eventually for her to advocate for herself.”
With your support, Autism Hampshire can work with autistic people and their families across Hampshire, to create opportunities, challenge perceptions and provide high quality services. It is our vision to create a better future for autistic people.
With over 50 years’ experience of supporting autistic people, Autism Hampshire is the leading local autism charity delivering quality services across Hampshire.
“I would be at crisis point; this saved my life. If I didn’t have this, I would be extremely poorly and potentially may have taken my own life. Having the support from Information, Advice and Guidance and Serendipity kept me alive.”
We provide autism-focused Training, supported living services, community groups for autistic adults, and an Information, Advice and Guidance Team that responds to an average of 12,000 requests for help each year.
Other services include a Local Autism Directory and award-winning community projects such as our Autism Alert Programme for Emergency Services.
Serendipity Community Groups fundraising campaign
We've launched an urgent appeal to raise £50,000 to cover this year’s funding shortfall for our Serendipity Community Groups. We rely on the generosity of our supporters and local community, along with grants from trusts. Find out more here and please donate today.
